Premium Lithium EP Greases

Product Description
LITH EP greases are premium lithium soap thickened greases formulated with advanced extreme pressure (EP) and anti-wear (AW) additive technology. They are truly multi-service greases suitable for use in both automotive and industrial applications. In addition to their EP and anti-wear characteristics they also provide a high level of oxidation, rust and water washout protection.
The state-of-the-art equipment and procedures employed to manufacture LITH EP greases provide these greases with a high degree of mechanical and storage stability. They will not breakdown under high mechanical stress. In storage they will not alter consistency or release oil.
LITH EP greases are available in 5 NLGI or consistency grades to cover a wide range of grease applications.

Application
LITH EP greases are recommended for use in most types of automotive and industrial applications including heavy duty service where high loads are encountered. They are suitable for rolling element bearings, plain bearings, gears and couplings. Because of their outstanding corrosion and water resistant properties they are particularly suitable where water ingress is present such as underground tunnelling or mining and ore crushing plants.
The recommended operating temperature range is from –20 oC to 130 oC. LITH EP greases can endure higher temperatures for short periods or if the lubrication frequency is increased.
LITH EP 00 and 0 are very soft greases. They are suitable for appropriate gearbox applications and also offer good low temperature pumpability.
LITH EP 1 is a soft grease particularly suitable for cetralised systems with long delivery lines.
LITH EP 2 is recommended for multi-service applications in roller element and plain bearings, bushings and pins under normal operating conditions.
LITH EP 3 is recommended where ambient or operating temperatures are higher than normal or where leakage is a concern.

These products are classified as non-hazardous. No special precautions are required if employed and handled in accordance to normal practice for this type of product. Good personal hygiene is recommended when handling this product. After any spills or personal contact, the skin area should be washed with soap and water. Clothing should be laundered.
