RustGard WD Series consist of three distinctly different water displacing rust preventatives designed to cover a wide range of applications found in automotive, marine and general industry.

Indpro RustGard WD Series have been carefully formulated with state-of-the-art rust and corrosion inhibitors to displace water and then form tenacious water-resistant films on metal surfaces.

Application

RustGard WD Light is a light bodied petroleum solvent based penetrating fluid recommended for the protection of finely finished machine parts including those parts coated with water soluble cutting fluids. It is also suitable for applying to parts for storage and/or transport as a temporary rust preventative. Guideline for protection is 3-6 months indoor and 1-3 months outdoor.

Indpro RustGard WD Medium is an oil based rust preventative which will protect the internal surfaces of equipment such as engines, compressors, hydraulic & circulation systems plus splash lubricated parts. It is recommended for this type of equipment while in storage, or being transported. It is resistant both to rain and sea water immersion. Guideline for protection is 6-9 months indoor and 3-6 months outdoor.

Indpro RustGard WD Heavy is a wax/grease type product that will provide a strong protective film and is particularly recommended for wire rope and steel sheet. It will protect surfaces from fresh and salt water corrosion and adhere without being tacky or stringy. Guideline for protection is 18-24 months indoor and 12-18 months outdoor.

These products are classified as non-hazardous. No special precautions are required if employed and handled in accordance to normal practice for this type of product. Good personal hygiene is recommended when handling this product. After any spills or personal contact, the skin area should be washed with soap and water. Clothing should be laundered.
